What happened to Erie Landmark Company?
Paul W. Zimmerman Foundries — doing business as Erie Landmark Company of Columbia, Pennsylvania — was one of the oldest continually operating bronze casting companies in the United States, established in 1937. After more than 85 years, the company closed in 2024.
We have deep respect for what the Zimmerman family built. Erie Landmark set a standard for American cast bronze work, and many organizations across the country still display their plaques proudly.
